Description: Antique hand-painted black kimono, dating from 1926–1989 (Taishō to early Shōwa period). Adorned with motifs of hand fans, flowers, a carriage, and family crests, with cotton padding along the bottom hem. The interior reveals an off-white lining accented by black lining at the cuffs and hem, with the painted design continuing onto the inner lining for exquisite detail.


Material: 100% silk (Chirimen — traditional Japanese crepe fabric)

Condition: In exceptional condition, with a profound black hue that remains richly saturated. Crafted from silk chirimen with its distinctive textured crinkle — a Japanese crepe renowned for its soft drape and fine wrinkles — the fabric caresses the skin with remarkable softness.
